Classes
Small group soroban lessons in Greater Vancouver and online.
Children and adults learn at their own pace, with personalized guidance and a calm, supportive atmosphere.
How Classes Work
The standard class is 60 minutes. Groups are small, so each student receives individual attention. Instruction is adjusted to personality, learning style, and pace — not a one-size-fits-all manual.
Mistakes are treated as useful information. Students who understand faster often help those still learning, which builds both skill and confidence.
Choose the Setting That Fits
Greater Vancouver
Face-to-face classes are available across Greater Vancouver. Students work with a real soroban in a quiet, focused group.
Worldwide
Online lessons follow the same philosophy and personalized guidance. They are a good option for families outside the area, or for those who prefer to learn from home.
Who Can Join
Ages 4 to adult. Many children begin between 4 and 8, but readiness matters more than age. If a child can sit and engage with simple number activities, they are usually ready.
This program also suits children who feel unsure in math, hesitate to raise their hand, or need encouragement that matches their personality.
