Classes Available in Greater Vancouver and Online
Ikoma Abacus offers the same teaching philosophy and instruction across all locations. Class days and times vary by area,
while the learning approach and guidance remain consistent.
Families can choose the option that best fits their schedule, location, and learning style.
Class length is flexible and guided by each child’s focus and readiness.
Our classes combine abacus practice with mental calculation exercises
based on each child’s readiness.
In-person classes are offered at selected locations across Greater Vancouver.

Online Classes
Online classes are available for families who prefer learning from home or who live outside the Greater Vancouver area.
The same instruction, philosophy, and attention are provided online.
If you are unsure which class option fits your child,
we are happy to help you choose.
Summer Classes (July–August)
During the summer, additional class options are available.
• Friday classes in Burnaby
• Optional private sessions upon request at West Vancouver Library
These sessions follow the same teaching approach
with flexible pacing based on each child’s readiness.
Summer session options are available:
• Single session: $33
• 5-session package: $150
Sessions are flexible and can be adjusted based on your child’s pace and readiness.
